Im trying to find the parents of don Joseph de Villalobos and Doña Melchora
Gutierrez. They had children in the 1690s and probly earlier too. she died
in 1711 in aguascalientes but it doesnt name her parents. theres a death
record in 1699 for a joseph de villalobos that was married to a melchora
but it doesn't name his parents either. im just wondering whether anyone
knows the parents for this couple.

Joseph de Villalobos was son of Francisco de Villalobos cc Maria Vasquez de Retamosa, and Melchora Gutierrez Coronado was daughter of Juan Gutierrez Coronado and Maria de Cabrera. Here’s their IM, 06 Jun 1690:

Francisco de Villalobos was son of Cristobal de Villalobos cc Maria Perez de Nava, of Mexico City, and Maria Vasquez de Retamosa daughter of Gaspar Macias cc Mariana de Torres. Francisco and Maria married 22 May 1640 in Teocaltiche.
