By SGarzaAceves | Sun, 2024-07-07 12:23

Good day,

I trust all are well.  I am searching for the parents of Magdalena Velasco,

Wife of Joseph de Aceves Fernández y Becerra

Mother of Nicolás Aceves y Ruiz de Velasco

(1682 • Ayo El Chico, Jalisco)

Online suggestions indicate her parents were Cristóbal Hernández Gamiño and María de los Ángeles Ruiz de Haro y Velasco.

Would you be so kind as to direct me to sources to aid in my research?

Un cordial saludo,

Sandra Garza Aceves

I added the name "Magalena Velasco" as one of her alternates...

in her page.

I can't believe spaced it earlier.  It is relevant because you and another person were using that as her supposed name.  Maybe it will help with searches later.

You can see multiple alternate names, and spelling of names, under the "Other Information" section of her page:  https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/2BLY-LX2

In the comments section there is this thread where the individual is discussing Magdalen's husband's parents!  https://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/25009

Oh my!  I was on my phone when I clicked the link you were so kind to send.  Needless to say, I will use all my computer monitors to review this.

Very appreciative does not come close to expressing my gratitude.

Saludos y bendiciones,

Sandra

you're welcome....

I think it's them.... be pretty coincidental if it's someone else with multiple mexican names tacked on!

and once I had names.... here is your tree....

quite filled out I must say... and, YES, you can see Magdalena's parents there...her name was:

Magdalena Hernández Velázquez y Ruiz de Haro

Gotta have the right name... otherwise it's a bear.  I'm fairly confident this is what you're looking for????  Well, hopefully....

Is 1682 her birthday? Need some clarity here?

Is Ayo El Chico, Jalisco where she was born?  Or married?   Or perhaps both?

HelloPardon me.  I neglected…

Hello

Pardon me.  I neglected to clarify.  The year 1682 was when her son was born. He was born in Ayo El Chico, Jalisco,

Thank you.
