  1. Open up your PAF file
  2. Go to the oldest person in the family you want the report based on (you don't have to include everyone if you don't want to but do it at least for your grandparents and maybe great grandparents.
  3. Go to "File"
  4. Go to "Print Reports"
  5. Click on "Books"
  6. Fill the "Print to File" box with a check (right underneath the "HELP" button)
  7. Now you need to trial and error with the "Maximum Generations to Print." You need to set it at the highest number that will just prevent any living generations from being shown. You can preview this by clicking on "Preview."
  8. Once #7 has been determined then by pass "preview" and click on "Print" (note: this will not print the file on paper just give you a copy, the wording is strange)
  9. This will let you save the file in .rtf format where you decide you want it.
  10. Compose an email to joseph [at] nuestrosranchos.org with the above file attached
