Following the family line of Velascos I have Francisco de Velasco Arce and Maria Ceron (married Nov 19 1636 in San Antonio, Mixquiahuala, Hidalgo Mexico) as the parents of Francisco Velasco who is married to Nicolasa Ruis-De Esparza in Nov. 19, 1665 in Aguascalientes. My great grandmother Emilia's mother and father were both Velasco's. I have quite a bit of info on both family lines.

Thanks for your response. i have researched the velasco esparza line hoping to further my velasco line but i have reached a dead end. I did not find any document pf velasco and esparza ruiz which led me to his parents. Thank you for the info. My research has lead me to maria velasco and geronimo orosco but no connection. maria is at several weddings with brides by the last name velasco but whose daughters were they?
I've been trying to find more information about the family of Bernabe Velasco, ca~ 1685 in Aguascalientes/Calvillo. The children that I have for him are Jose Velasco, Manuel Velasco, Maria Velasco, Josefa Velasco. Josefa and Urbano Contreras had kids sometimes after 1730 near Calvillo.
Their descendents also married Medinas in Calvillo and Aguascalientes in the mid- to late 1700s.
Do you come across any of these names in your research?

I would have never thought they would come from Francisco de Velasco Arce from Hidalgo. Thank you. My mother grew up in Aguascalientes and in Calvillo she descends from Francisco de Velasco about 4 times.

Information on Family search states that Grooms parents are Antonio Velasco and Maria Arce, Brides parents : Juan Ceron and Agusta Perez.
Francisco Velasco Ceron was Baptized January 12, 1638, San Antonio, Mixquiahuala, Hidalgo (Batch 657694) Image 30 –the date is within the presumed date of birth of Francisco Velasco – I could not find anything for Francisco Velasco in Aguascalientes other than his marriage to Nicolasa Ruiz de Esparza in 1665.
Antonio Velasco and Maria de Arce are listed as being married Nov 19, 1636 San Antonio, Mixquiahuala, Hidalgo (Batch 613673) I have not been able to find this batch number on line.
Let me know if you can find a better connection/verification of this information

I do not have that much on bernabe. I was a bit confused as i thought there was a bernabe and a bernardo?? I donot know if they are the same.
